We arrived at 9.30am midweek and there were only a handful of other people at the site, apart from a group of keen joggers who had run up the hill! It’s a zigzagging drive up, but the road is in good condition and there’s a small roundabout and parking at the top, no toilets, but there is a small refreshment hut by the roundabout. The views are spectacular from the ancient town and the ruins, especially the theatre are impressive. It costs 10 euros for an adult.
