What a sensational afternoon relaxing and enjoying Gai’a … beautiful sea breeze, fabulous wine, knowledgeable and truly delightful Lina to talk us through our tastings. Multiple options to get here, wine tours, single vineyard tastings but we caught the local bus and walked about 1km to arrive at the cellar tasting. Catch a taxi back €12. Highly recommend this as an option to come and just taste the high class of wines that Gai’a produce and miss the hustle and bustle of shopping in the old town for an afternoon. Perfect Santorini experience.

I highly recommend a visit to Gaia Winery. I had been meaning to visit for a long time. My trip exceeded my expectations. The winery is situated in an idyllic location on the beach, & is so calm & peaceful. It is a lovely location to taste wine. I had the tasting experience of 7 wines, & added a cheese plate, which was very reasonable. The staff/sommeliers are very friendly & knowledgeable, & were excellent hosts. I learnt a lot from them. We also discovered that you can visit for a glass of wine when open. Come for tasting experience or just a relaxing glass of wine - I recommend the rose called ‘4-6 hours’, which is a delicious, quaffing summer wine!
