Found this place to be well-worth the visit - with beautiful tile work downstairs and a very aesthetic courtyard (perfect for your holiday pictures), as well as a fascinating art collection upstairs. Our favourite part of this visit was the tour that came along with it. The woman who led our English speaking tour was incredibly knowledgeable and portrayed the palace’s history in a very engaging way! Certainly made our ticket worthwhile. There are tours offered in both English and Spanish. Great spot to provide yet another lens into Spanish architecture!

The collection is amazing. The first floor is many of th personal items the contessa collected. There are objects from the far east as well as mosaic flooring she saved from ruins outside of Seville. Upstairs is still as the family lived, with amazing furniture, dishes, and library. You cannot take pictures upstairs because the collection is still privately owned. The family still have living space on the third floor.
