Kinda pricish but 3 exhibitions were worth it. Particularly the one picturing war of resistance against Japan. Heartbreaking, disturbing and thought-provoking. If you a fan of Liu Qing and Quan Shanshi it’s definitely something for you to explore. Plan at least 1,5 hours for a visit. The ticket also includes 60 yuan that you can exchange for some item in a souvenir shop nearby.

West Bund Art Museum is located right by the river and features both permanent and rotating exhibitions. There’s always great art to enjoy. Some areas are free, while others require a ticket—but the entrance fee is affordable and totally worth it. You can also head upstairs for a nice river view out back. Getting there is easy, and calling a Didi both ways is super convenient.
