    Loved it. It was really cool seeing shanghai from those models and all the plans they have for 2035 and 2050 and on one of the floors they had a massive moving picture that was 2 floors high. Another thing I liked was how it was free admission so you didn't have to pay. Overall it was a really fun and futuristic place and I would recommend trying it out

    An absolute must-visit landmark on People's Square! The Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center features an incredibly interesting, massive masterplanning model that beautifully showcases the future architectural blueprint of Shanghai. I originally visited this wonderful place with my wife back in December 2005, and it is mind-blowing to look back and see how the city's ambitious vision has actually come to life today. The intricate scale models, combined with the upgraded immersive digital multimedia displays, offer a spectacular overview of the city's past history, current progress, and futuristic ecological developments. It is highly recommended for anyone interested in architecture or urban design!
