The People's Square and the People's Park area well worth a visit. The garden is tranquil and beautiful. There are lots of lovey plants and birds to be seen. On Saturdays you can also see the open-air marriage market where parents and grandparents gather to find matches for their single adult children by displaying their "resumes " Very interesting and I wonder what the success rate is.

A huge park with a variety of smaller areas and features. You can take a meandering stroll through the hilly rock gardens, enjoy a fountain show in front of the museum, or even join the locals in some morning exercises. There's something here for everyone. Reminds me of Central Park in NYC, where an expansive park is nestled between the surrounding skyscrapers. There is a big government building nearby, so just be conscious of the heightened security presence along the main road to the south.
