★★★★★a month agoThis museum is amazing, and a must-see if you are visiting Taiwan!! I especially loved their mythical animals section and the jade meat and cabbage! They also sell the museum books in their store. There is a restaurant on the top floor, their braised pork with rice and tea are good. If you like pork feet/knuckle you should also get it there as it’s also amazing. I recommend planning a full day there if you want to look at all exhibits.

★★★★★2 months agoThe National Palace Museum is slightly overrated compared to some of Taiwan's other historical attractions, but it is still well worth a visit. The museum houses an impressive collection of cultural and historical artifacts that provide valuable insight into Chinese history and heritage. The exhibits are well presented, and the quality and significance of the collection are undeniable. If you have an interest in history, culture, or art, it is definitely a worthwhile stop during your visit to Taiwan.
