This bar caught our attention during a daytime stroll through Valletta, and we decided to return later that evening. It proved to be an excellent decision. The cocktail selection was both extensive and thoughtfully curated, with drinks that were expertly prepared and consistently impressive. Service was swift throughout the evening, delivered with a friendly, relaxed manner that nevertheless remained professional. The live music, which starts daily at 20:00, was the perfect finishing touch. We arrived around 19:30 and managed to secure one of the last remaining tables. By 20:30 the entire street had transformed into a lively gathering of people singing along and enjoying the atmosphere. It was exactly the kind of vibrant energy one hopes to find while exploring Valletta after dark. The only aspect that fell short for us was the food. We tried the quinoa salad with chicken and found it somewhat underwhelming. The chicken was served in slices and lacked seasoning, while the salad itself would have benefited from a more considered dressing to bring the components together. That said, Babel excels at what it is fundamentally there to do: provide excellent drinks, welcoming service, and a memorable atmosphere. For anyone who appreciates live music and well crafted cocktails, this is a venue I would happily recommend.

Brilliant bar & venue with live music. Staff are friendly & the selection of drinks is good. Gets very busy when band is playing but staff remain helpful trying to find everyone a seat. Only one toilet downstairs so wouldn't recommend for people with any movement issues as stairway is fairly steep. Cannot fault anything else at all & definitely say go here & enjoy.
