i walked around this beautiful park for a few nights in a row in july, earlier this year. i lingered around in this park waiting on a lover to meet me here… he never came. but i still enjoyed 3 blissful midsummer evenings. i walked along the riverbank, sat on a park bench. smoked a few cigarettes, listened to music, all the while my heart gently aching. all the beauty around me only adding to my youthful longing. why does this life have to be so full of yearning & tragedy? will i ever find my corner of the world?

A small park with majestic old trees and an unusual monument of Dr. Casare Lambroso - doctor, antropologists and among the pioneers of criminal studies. The monument in the Docotor shows him sitting with a crane on the bench - tourists love to take photos with him as they can sit happily next to him. A water fountain with drinking water makes the mini park a perfect stop before entering the historic part of Verona
