When you go to sloss Schönbrunn you really need to see the Royal carriages. Okay a bit small, maybe, but actually I was with Wagenburg more impressed then the palace. So must a must see. And quiet when we where there.

We visited the Imperial Carriage Musuem on a Wednesday in early June. We bought tickets ahead of time for 11am. This Musuem was beautiful, probably my favorite in all of Vienna. The carriages were so big and ornate and some were very unusual. These were all in amazing shape and so very detailed. It is definitely a one of its kind Museum. The upstairs exhibit on Elizabeth and her horses and riding was also interesting. I also liked how it was a much quieter and relaxing experience compared to the interior of Schonbrunn. There were no large tour groups to compete with as the woman at the door said they limited visitors to a certain amount per time slot which I appreciated.
