★★★★★a month agoWe can call this place Austria's counterpart to the Gardens of Versailles. The difference is that it is slightly smaller than Versailles, making it much easier to explore in a single day. It is absolutely beautiful! You can truly feel the history of this place. It makes you want to learn more about Empress Sisi and her fascinating story. For families with children, part of the gardens also includes a zoo (entry is charged separately). It's a perfect place for couples, but solo travelers will also find plenty to enjoy here. I highly recommend visiting! Entry to the gardens is free, making it even more worthwhile. This is definitely a must-see attraction in Vienna.

★★★★★2 months agoI’ll keep it simple because everyone else has the right idea already, but this place is amazing -and most of it is free! It’s huge and has its show-stopping areas with plenty of tourists, but you can also find some relatively quiet side trails and places to relax and enjoy. It’s clean, curated, beautiful place. The joggers are so lucky to make this a pet of their running routes.
