Leopoldsberg is a cool castle that can be seen on a hill bordering the Danube looking north from the city. We hiked up and the incline is very steep but they have many benches and rest spots so you can take it in intervals. The castle is also accessible by bus if that is preferred. There is a beautiful church inside the castle and a water fountain on the castle wall. Amazing views and definitely worth the hike up.

A really nice and free view of the city. There's a big parking lot but you can come by public transport, too. Free public toilet for hikers. You can also walk down the hill. It' s worth a visit wether you like hiking or not.
