★★★★★10 months agoFirst time visitors from any country should visit the Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall as a starter. Not as large as the Bangkok National museum this exhibition hall gives you a basis for thai culture. The 2 hour tour is recommended as they go through the timeline of the country, the king lineage and architectural development. Also, there are evolutions of the long boats which were interesting to me. Lots of knowledgeable facts throughout the 4 floors and a overlooking floor to see the temple on the top floor good for photos and videos. No flash however in the main building. Highly recommended!
