★★★★★3 months agoA gorgeous museum with something for everyone - dinosaurs, animals, plants, planets, minerals…. An impressive collection for each of the categories, polite staff and overall a wonderful addition to your visit. It is included in the Visit Berlin museum pass (I paid 16€ for a 72hour pass as a student and it includes over 30 museums, highly recommend). We were able to go through the whole museum in about an hour and a half, but we went before closing so obviously couldn’t stay as long as we maybe would’ve otherwise. Highly recommend, bravo Berlin!

★★★★★4 months agoA very good museum and definitely worth visiting, especially with children. The dinosaur section is the clear highlight and gives the whole visit its real wow factor. Three hours feels about right: enough time to enjoy the main exhibits properly, take a short break, and still see a bit more without rushing. Best approach is to go straight to the highlights first, then explore selectively rather than trying to see everything. Must-sees: Tristan Otto (T. rex), the giant dinosaur hall with Giraffatitan, Archaeopteryx, the main dinosaur exhibition overall, and the taxidermy highlights like Knut and Bobby.
