This and the area around it are picture perfect. Not a usual touristy place in Brugge but a must place to go to. Two windmills nearby on top of small hillocks and the river flowing by. It was a bright and sunny day and we thoroughly enjoyed going there. Highly recommended.

I went for a walk when i arrived in town, and i came to this gate. -One of the old gates of the city across the canal. -The gate itself has only one lane of car trafic going through it, and its not large enough for a pedestrian to walk inside too, but there is sidewalks around the outside. -looks great from all sides, and there is 2 windmills nearby -There is a outdoor urinal there too.
