Seeing this building from the outside is already impressive, but going inside takes it to another level. The architecture, the grand staircases, the gold details, and the ceilings are absolutely stunning. The tour is not exactly cheap, but I honestly think it’s worth doing at least once. It’s one of those places where the interior really adds something and doesn’t feel like you paid just to see a few rooms. Book in advance because tickets can sell out, and arrive early for the security check. Also, make sure you see it again at night from the Buda side, the illuminated view across the Danube is one of the best in Budapest.

I came back after dark just to see it again, and it was absolutely worth it. The lighting brings out details that almost disappear during the day, and from across the Danube the whole building looks unreal. One of those places that quietly reminds you why Budapest is considered one of Europe's most beautiful capitals.
