Truly breathtaking cathedral in the heart of Edinburgh. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the history, beauty, and peaceful atmosphere surrounding you. The details, the light, and the architecture are simply stunning. Entry is free, though a small donation at the entrance is encouraged—and absolutely worth it to help preserve such a special place. A memorable and inspiring experience that I highly recommend.

Cathedrals in the UK are truly on another level, and St Giles is no exception. It is an incredible historical site with a unique atmosphere. The "Crown Spire" on the outside is iconic, but the interior is where the magic really happens the stained glass is vibrant, and the blue vaulted ceilings with gold details are simply stunning. It feels much more ancient and grounded than other cathedrals, perfectly capturing the spirit of Edinburgh. Even if you are not religious, the architecture and the history of the Thistle Chapel are worth the visit. A majestic place that stands out even in a city full of beautiful buildings.
