A great place to inspire curiosity and learn about renaissance beyond art. Rich collection and very well displayed. Download Audio guide app. It’s free and makes it all more interesting. This place is outshined by all the “blockbuster” sights but is well worth the visit. I went for my daughter but ended up liking it myself! No crowds here at all.

Very curious collections of scientific instruments and experimental tools, as well as geographical maps and medical objects of the Middle Ages to early Modern Age. The museum is sutable for all ages from young kids up. The ideas of scientific exploration and thought are well presented throughout the exposition.
