★★★★★6 months agoThis is THE best bakery in Florence!!! I had done a lot of research prior to my honeymoon in Florence, and I knew I wanted to visit this bakery. It was much better than I even hoped. At 3pm in the afternoon on a weekday there was a non-stop line of only Italian-speaking locals going in and out. Despite the late hour they had all items available. I was able to get a range of biscuits, cakes and tarts (highlight was the torta de mele) and two different sandwiches - one eggplant, tomato and brie, and the other prosciutto cotto, mozzarella, cream cheese and artichoke. Everything was INCREDIBLE. Thank you for your help and providing the best lunch and breakfast(s) I could ask for!

We have already devoured one each, she had the chocolate and I had the creame. We still have this beautiful blueberry one waiting for us to try. The service was amazing as well, the ladies were happy to help me out. I recommend making the effort of going there. Our last day in Florence is tomorrow but I'm going to walk over there before heading to the train station for some travel snacks. Ohh, and the price is damn good as well! Four pastries for €5.20.
