★★★★★3 months agoIt’s a fun walk there, definitely worth to get to the end cause at the end you can climb the ladder and see a gorgeous sunset / sunrise. Great for walkers, great to experience once

★★★★★2 months agoWhat a lovely highlight of my solo walk! During my trip to Crete I strolled all the way out to the Heraklion Lighthouse at the end of the Venetian harbour and it felt like the perfect peaceful end to my afternoon. The path along the pier is flat and easy, making it a relaxing stroll with nice sea views the whole way. Standing right next to the lighthouse with the open water in front of me was refreshing — the breeze, the waves, and that wide-open feeling were just what I needed. I was even lucky enough to spot a couple of turtles swimming in the clear sea below, which made the moment extra special.
