★★★★★3 months agoWe only visited the aquarium. We didn't have time to go into the museum. We liked the sea creatures, the interactive children's game and opportunity to leave our mark by drawing our own fish. There is also cafe where we ate some pastries and drank coffee

★★★★★5 months agoThe Aquário Vasco da Gama is definitely worth its entry price (3€ for children and 6€ for adults)! It's a lovely, rather small aquarium located close to Lisbon that I would whole-heartedly recommend to any visitor (and especially to families with kids). It offers countless relics from past expeditions (mainly from the 19th century), small aquariums for species from all around the globe and a small café. My personal highlights were the cute cuttlefish, the piranhas, the sea horses, the axolotls, the moray eel and the electric eels as seen in the photos below.
