★★★★★2 months agoA perfect rose garden Formal enough to be impressive and casual enough to be intimate. Located in the huge Parc de la Tête d'Or, Lyon’s International Rose Garden is the largest and most elegant of three rosaries spread quite far apart. We had the good fortune of visiting in May when the roses were in peak bloom. The variety is not only in colors but also in sizes and shapes. I’ve grown roses for 50 years and had no idea some of those cultivars existed or were even possible. Visit with a loved one. It’s beautiful, educational, and romantic.
