★★★★★3 months agoAmazing place to see art! Quite impressed by the number of collections, their quality and diversity! I am so happy to have passes but I highly recommend it! It is quite nice to see it and also you can expect to spend around 1 hour there. Some paintings are huge, others are small, some orher collectikns are also quite unique! All in all, friendly staff and nice atmosphere! Definitely, a must for someone visiting Lyon! You will not regret it!

★★★★★Edited 3 months agoThis a great institution to visit on your trip to Lyon. The collection has a very healthy emphasis on Lyonnaise artists but also a small number of impressionist paintings. The environment is very much family oriented, including a wonderful courtyard for the young ones to play in. The size is very manageable and spectrum of time periods and physical sizes are wise for educational purposes. The gift shop is also sizable.
