I made this trip with 5 kids. They enjoyed it. However it was a bit of boring after the train experience. We arrived at Kibala (kids play area at most top level) too late, 10min before closing time at 5. Thus my kids disappointed. So, i think visitors with kids can just take a quick look at the museum and head straight to Kibala for exciting playaround.

We visited the DB Museum in Nuremberg and had a great experience. It’s very kid-friendly, with interactive areas and train-themed play spaces that children will love. The museum showcases the history of trains in Germany with real locomotives and engaging exhibits. It also includes sections on World War II, adding an educational and historical perspective. Great for rainy days.
