Delicious chimney cakes here. The girl working was friendly and they came out looking and tasting great. I got the hazelnuss and my husband got the Mozart vanilla. They were both delicious. We will for certain be back again before leaving this beautiful city.

Speisekammer is one of those places that should be on your must-visit list when you are in Salzburg. It is a small bakery, but its Baumstriezel (chimney cake), is absolutely delicious and has a wonderfully distinctive flavour. The young man working there recommended the classic version, and it was a great choice. It was warm, freshly made, slightly crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. Forget about counting calories for a moment and enjoy the whole Baumstriezel, it is definitely worth it!
