Absolutely must visit if you have kids that are in primary or secondary levels in school. Especially if you have a Monday morning that is raining and you want to do something fun and educational indoors. So many different sections that teach Physics of electromagnetism, radio, energy, Geophysics, sensors, automobile engineering, Medicine/ Pharma, Nature, History of Cycles and a lot more! Very interactive and very cheap clean cafe under the building for convenience.

Great place for kids. They warn you exhibits arent in English. Some are some are not. However, my son enjoyed all of them. There is a cafe there that serves lovely food. I recall it being very cheap to enter something like 1000yen for son and me. We were there 2-3 hrs. My son really enjoyed the car simulators and the giant marble run. They have lots of school trips so the museum can be very busy.
