Sanam Luang is one of the most iconic open spaces in the heart of Bangkok. Located right next to the Grand Palace, this large green field offers a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by history, culture, and beautiful architecture. It’s a perfect place to take a walk, relax, exercise, or simply sit and enjoy the view especially in the late afternoon when the weather cools down and the sky turns golden. You’ll see locals jogging, families spending time together, and tourists taking photos with the stunning backdrop of the Grand Palace and nearby temples. At night, the area becomes lively yet calm, with soft lights, street food nearby, and a gentle breeze. It’s a wonderful spot to experience real Bangkok life while being surrounded by its rich heritage. Simple, beautiful, and full of charm Sanam Luang is definitely worth a visit.

What a stunning and breathtaking piece of Thai culture! Wow! I've walked around the entire afternoon and still I felt like I should return some day. The details on the temples and shrines are astonishing, wherever one may look there are more things to be discovered. I will recommend this temple to everyone who decides to visit Bangkok
