★★★★★5 months agoIncredibly well done and authentic in the house that is supposedly the oldest one of belgium. It takes you immediately to the dark reality of what ordinary people went through during the witch hysteria. The artifacts and informational plaques are excellent. A must-see slice of history in Bruges!

★★★★★4 months agoSadly, I would call this a hard pass. The concept was cool, but there are only a few real artifacts and the rest are just pictures and statues with signs talking about the history of witchcraft worldwide. I don't think I saw anything related to Bruges or Belgium's involvement in withcraft, either. The only thing memorable was the Vampire Kit, but again the signage just gave a few paragraphs about what vampires are and didn't say whether the kit was historic, a replica, or a movie prop. The lady at the front desk was pretty cool, though :-) Definitely NOT worth 10 Euros per person.
