★★★★★a year agoThis was one of the most fascinating museums I’ve ever been to. I saw something similar in Switzerland, where my daughter lives, but this one truly exceeded all expectations. Make sure to watch the film on the third floor — it was shot using the museum’s own exhibits and really takes you back in time. I recommend starting with it, but even if you see it later, it’s still a great experience. The biggest highlight is the staff. They don’t just share facts — they make history come alive. You can tell they really know and care, and it makes the visit even more special. Honestly, it’s the best museum I’ve visited. Even my husband listened with real interest when I told him about it — that’s a first! I didn’t have much money at the time, but I still highly recommend going. Thank you so much for what you do.

★★★★★Edited a month agoWhat a beautiful period Propert within Charlotte square in Edinburghs new town. Grand entrance and beautiful staircase. Pictures of the great and good from Edinburghs past are on the walls on the way up the stairs. All of the rooms are lovingly restored to fit the period. Well worth a visit and the basement is so Interesting 👌🏻👌🏻
