★★★★★5 months agoVisit the Great Synagogue of Florence (Tempio Maggiore Israelitico di Firenze) in the Via Luigi Carlo Farini. It is a synagogue in Moorish style inaugurated in 1882. It has a green copper dome. Very impressive ✡️ I realy recommend you to visit the building and museum. I was there on March 9, 2026. The weather was great

★★★★★a year agoVery beautiful, huge synagogue with a museum on the second floor telling the history of synagogue and getto nearby. It was a pleasant surprise to learn, on the plaque at the entrance to the mechitza, that the armchairs in the mechitza had been restored by the Ferragamo family.
