    This was a peaceful, uncrowded, small museum describing the history of this foundlings’ hospital and orphanage founded in the early 1400s. I recommend seeing the exhibit of frescos upstairs. This museum is close to the busy Accademia museum with the famous Michelangelo David statue.

    If you visit there museum, don't miss going to the roof top cafe and also seeing the original baby drop off window. They put bars soon it later on to prevent older children from being dropped off there, since only babies could fit through the bars.
