★★★★★5 months agoDespite my limited Italian, I could still communicate with the nonna behind the counter thanks to a translator (an old Italian customer helping me order 😂). They don’t offer cappuccino but they have places to stand and eat, so they allowed us to buy a cup of cappuccino from elsewhere and have it here with their freshly baked bread/pastry (which we didn’t in the end). The pistacchio brioche was stuffed to the brim with a cream of white chocolate and pistacchio, highly recommended. Freshly baked bread was salted and goes so well with olive oil / jam. The apple pie was absolutely delicious with a handmade custard and some melted sugar on top, really divine and very value for money.
