★★★★★3 months agoFound this cannoli spot tucked inside a beautiful old ministry/courtyard in Palermo and honestly it ended up being way more than just grabbing dessert. You walk through this rough old hallway and then suddenly open into an incredible courtyard with fountains, citrus trees, flowers, historic architecture, and people just sitting around relaxing. It feels hidden and very Sicilian. The cannoli itself was fantastic because they fill it fresh right there in front of you and let you customize the ends however you want. You can add pistachios, chocolate chips, cherries, candied oranges, or mix them together. I went with pistachio and it was perfect. The shell was crisp, the ricotta tasted fresh and not overly sweet, and the toppings added just enough texture without overpowering it. What made the place stand out though was the atmosphere. Sitting in that courtyard eating a fresh cannolo surrounded by old stone arches, fountains, and orange trees felt like one of those spots you randomly discover while traveling that ends up becoming a highlight of the trip. Definitely worth finding if you’re in Palermo.

★★★★★a month agoSo cool! Really worth a stop! A great place to get breakfast. Definetly worth a visit, and go early. They will sell out and people will start lining up before they open at 10am. They will fill and top the canolis right there for you! Limited coffee options available. Also other desserts can be bought, and they sell some limited chatchkeys too. Cool canoli magnets, better than the other tourist shops in the area. The canolis were large and delicious.
