Deoksunung Palace was a highlight of my trip to Seoul. Its quieter than the larger palaces. I visited twice, once in the morning and a second time in the evening. The evening visit was magical with the lighting of the buildings and city around the palace. Its very well maintained and cheap entry at 1000 krw. Would highly recommend planning a visit here, there is also a free audio guide which you can access on your phone which is very informative.

This place is amazing! Even though it’s located right next to a busy street, it feels incredibly quiet and peaceful once you step inside. The entrance fee is only 1,000 won, making it well worth a visit. I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing it for yourself.
