I was initially in two minds about visiting this museum, but it turned out to be well worth it. The museum is relatively compact—around 10 rooms—but very well presented. You can scan a QR code that opens a site highlighting key exhibits, and some pieces even have audio clips explaining the paintings, which enhances the experience. About an hour is sufficient to explore the museum comfortably. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there are lockers available for storing bags. I would definitely recommend a visit.

A beautiful museum in a beautiful city. If you have time during your visit to Bruges, I highly recommend this museum. The art is stunning. I remember especially being blown away by how realistic the cloth is in many of these paintings. I don't know if it was because I went on a rainy weekday or if it's always like this, but there were no crowds which gave you time to really take in the art. Definitely worth the visit if you are an art enthusiast.
