“Visiting Saint Mark’s Basilica in Venice was one of the most breathtaking moments of our anniversary trip. The basilica is truly a masterpiece every corner filled with gold mosaics, incredible details, and a sense of history that leaves you speechless. Climbing up the St Mark’s Campanile (the bell tower) was absolutely worth it. The view from the top felt unreal the red rooftops, the shining domes, the wide square below, and the endless blue water surrounding the entire city. It honestly looked like a painting come to life. Venice itself amazed us even more. The idea that this entire city is built on water still feels unbelievable. No cars, no noise just walking, boats, slow life, and beautiful canals everywhere. Watching people move around by foot or by boat, seeing the gondolas slide through the narrow waterways, and feeling the peaceful rhythm of the city made Venice feel like another world. A magical basilica, a tower with unforgettable views, and a city unlike any other Venice was truly a another highlight of our trip.”

“We had a wonderful experience at the Skyline Rooftop Bar. Being able to enjoy the sunset over Venice from such a beautiful rooftop was truly special. The atmosphere is fantastic. A special mention to Eric for his excellent service. He was very welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to enjoy a drink while watching the sunset in Venice.”

“I make it a point to visit a rooftop bar in every city I travel to, and this is undoubtedly one of the best spots in Venice. Perched atop the Hilton Molino Stucky, the bar offers breathtaking views of the city looking toward the east, and the sunset is absolutely gorgeous from either side of the terrace. The service was excellent, and both the drinks and snacks were top-notch. It’s a very romantic atmosphere, especially at twilight. For transportation, simply take the vaporetto line 4.1 or 2 to the hotel; they run until 11:30 PM, making it easy to enjoy the evening.”

“This wonderful street starts right outside the train station (to your left hand side when walking out). As most of Venice it's pretty crowded, but since it's - for Venice - a quite wide street it doesn't feel too crowded. Many Hotels are lined up here (we like the Hotel Nazionale - doesn't look much, but good value). Shops, restaurants, arts & crafts, souvenir shops....it's all here. And also what probably is the city's best bakery: The Pasticceria dal Mas. It's a nice street to just stroll around. Especially when it gets dark the visitors become less and it's wonderful to walk along it at night. Very romantic. When the street ends (actually it just changes the name into Salizada S. Geremia) you can keep walking....and walking. You will end up at Rialto somewhen. It's a nice walk.”

“Absolutely the best experience!!! Stefano was born and raised in Venice - he KNOWS the city. I'm a professional photographer but with Stephano's help, he allowed me to see the sights a lot quicker than on my own. And his eye for different angles, sites, methods - expanded my photography skills. Super friendly, courteous in every way, going out of his way to meet our time schedule. Actually hired him twice in the 5 days we were in Venice - before sunrise and after sunset - each experience was AMAZING. #worthit!”

Take your time to enjoy each site; rushing can diminish the romantic experience.
